This spring, we registered the piano with Steinway and had a letter sent to us giving us a brief history (based on the serial number) and insurance replacement value. According to Steinway our piano is 5’10 ½” in length with an approximate net weight of 610 lbs. It was completed in 1962 and shipped to a private customer in Huntington, NY. Its insurance replacement value is $101,800.00 – the current 2019 New York retail price of a new grand model O in mahogany.
